We traveled with our guide David who was extremely pleasant and wonderful. He had great facts and great attention to detail. He made us all feel special and was greatly knowledgeable at his job. We stopped first at the Maru Koala and Kangaroo Sanctuary
It was hot that day and holiday to Australians so lots of kids which was a bit to much but still could get some great close encounters with Kangaroos. If your an adult I would go when school is in and no holiday. However, it was still good experience. The penguins on Phillip island was excellent it will be very dark but as you walk back you will see them all chatting, talking, cuddling, it’s like a big penguin block party it is very cute and a must to see! I highly recommend David he is a star.

“A fun day out.”
The day tour was good, the sights were great in the sun and the journey's surroundings sublime. However this was all outdone by our host, John, who went above and beyond, asking the participants if there were any extra places they would like to go and staying later in places than was planned to ensure we all enjoyed our day. In addition, he supported the journeys surroundings with a witty and informative commentary that arguably stole the limelight.

We met some really nice people on this tour & as it was a small group everybody was friendly. I would have no hesitation on recommending this tour, we enjoyed it so much that I would do it again when in Melbourne. One of the best birthdays I have had.
So glad a friend of mine in the states recommended this trip! Who knew there were penguins in Australia! Most people expect them in colder lands or in the zoo.
We were able to observe the penguins' arrival and walk with them on our return to the science center. I love that tour fees help pay for the preservation of these special creatures!

We visited Melbourne in February and booked a day trip to the Great Ocean Road and the 12 Apostles. It was quite a long day with a 3 hour drive to get to the main highlight- the 12 Apostles however you have a few stops on the way for photo opportunities and there is time to have lunch at Apollo Bay.
The views were outstanding along the Great Ocean Road and breathtaking when you get to the 12 Apostles.
We also stopped at Lorne and Port Campbell for drinks on the way.
You may have to jostle a bit to get the best photo due to the number of tourists but it was well worth seeing and a must do when in Melbourne.

I wanted to say what a fantastic tour it was and how accommodating John was, often making several trips between lookouts to ensure everyone saw as much as possible. His commentary was excellent without being intrusive and I would highly recommend the tour to others visiting Melbourne.

“Highly recommended tour!!”
I couldn’t recommend this trip enough!! Our tour guide David made it such a great experience :) he was incredibly knowledgeable about the places we visited, the history of the area and could answer any question thrown his way. He ensured we had plenty of time at each stop and helped take pictures and chat at the stops. All we hoped for and more - thank you so much!!
